Our Process:

Step 1: Reporting of Outbreak

In the event your organisation experiences an outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the first step is to ensure staff and visitors are evacuated from the infected areas immediately. Second step is for a Manager from your organisation to immediately notify Keen to Clean team, who will then enact the process for Infection Control Outbreak.

Step 2: Site Isolation

Keen to Clean will attend your premises to ensure the infected areas are completely isolated and if required call for further evacuation based on site assessment. We will then start preparing your premises for disinfection and sanitisation by implementing the Infection control measures.

Step 3: Infection Control Measures

Now more than ever, it is crucial that we all follow best practice when it comes to personal hygiene and sanitization and disinfection of surfaces, especially in close-quarters workplaces such as commercial office  suites.

a: Site Preparation

Infection control beings with identifying the high touch areas to treat which mainly consists of the following areas (including but not limited to):

  • All Entry and Exit Doors
  • Light switches
  • Hallway walls
  • Handrails
  • Toilets and urinals
  • Showers and shower screens
  • Toilet roll holders and hand dryers
  • Sinks (including tapware and faucets)
  • Benches, tables and chairs
  • Desks including Computer screens, keyboards, mouse, phones etc.
  • Cupboards & Drawers
  • Other surfaces

Keen to Clean has documented procedure for infection control outlining the safe methods of carrying out a full detailed disinfection and sanitisation clean of the premises. As part of the site preparation process, we identify the chemicals and PPE to be used onsite.

b: Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

These include:

  • Droplet protection masks
  • Anti-Fogging goggles

  • Disposable Coverall suits

c: Sanitising using Approved Chemicals

Keen to Clean will use approved hospital grade surface disinfectants and alcohol and chlorine-based sanitisers throughout the process. Keen to Clean has AGAR as its preferred chemical supplier and has following accredited chemicals for infection control.

TANGO is a fresh scented Hospital Grade Disinfectant with a powerful cleaning action that leaves surfaces disinfected and clean. Tango is listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods as a Disinfectant – Hospital Grade. Its ARTG Number is 104423.

LEMON is a Commercial Grade Disinfectant with a powerful cleaning action that leaves surfaces disinfected and clean.

ORCHIDS is an anti-bacterial detergent with a three-way cleaning action: it functions as a powerful germ-killer, a detergent and a deodoriser.

Alcohol Sanitiser AS-60

Alcohol Sanitiser AS-60 is a ready-to-use, no-rinse sanitiser for all cleaned surfaces. It evaporates quickly, has a strong antibacterial action and leaves no residues.

CHLORADET is a concentrated, high-foaming cleaner with a bleaching action. Because it offers a very effective method of killing undesirable micro-organisms (germs, bacteria, fungi, etc.), CHLORADET is an excellent sanitiser.

d: Professional Disinfecting and Sanitizing

Our team will conduct through cleaning of all surfaces as per the assessment and ensure they are thoroughly disinfected first. Once disinfected the team will start sanitizing the disinfected areas.

Some large areas may require us to undertake the sanitizing using sprayer or an Ultra-Low Volume Misting machine to penetrate hard to reach areas. Our operations team will take a call on required method to be used for infection control.

e: Waste Removal

The Keen to Clean team will prepare the waste for disposal in leak proof plastic bags and will remove from your premises for appropriate disposal. This includes any bio-waste from the site generated during disinfecting process and all the PPE used throughout the process of sanitization.

Step 4: Site Assessment for Clearance

After this duration, operations team will ensure that site is cleared of all equipment’s and chemicals from the sanitization process.

Step 5: Handover
